About us

Elderly care residence UTOPIA FAMILY is a project that was first born in our hearts and then evolved in our minds too. 

We are Kristiyan and Mariela Kirovi, brother and sister. We were raised in a family with an entrepreneurial spirit and were brought up to respect traditional family values with strong family ties built. 

We had wonderful grandparents, who we loved endlessly, and believe that today they continue to protect us, but already as our heavenly angels. 

Over the years, we observed the changes that took place with them - the difficulties they encountered in daily activities and their attitude toward old age. Despite the shared time and the care we took, they were just slowly dwindling. We were their only natural stimulus to life. We realised that an elderly person needs a lot more to maintain a healthy spirit and motivate him- or herself to be physically active and live his or her old age the way he or she deserves. A suitable environment and professional support are needed. 

The idea of the residence was born spontaneously. A vision of old age, and what it has the potential to be. And what we want our loved ones to have the opportunity to experience. For our parents, this idea turned into a dream for themselves. And for us - an ambitious goal, filled with a strong emotional charge. 

We will turn UTOPIA FAMILY CARE into a standard of care for the elderly in Bulgaria.
